Within a short walk there are a good variety of pubs, restaurants and shops, along with a host of visitor attractions including The National Slate Museum, Lakeside railway, Electric Mountain, Dolbadarn Castle and the world-famous train to the summit of Snowdon. This is a superb spot for outdoor enthusiasts with excellent walks from the village. It is also just a short drive to North Wales’ most exciting attraction - Zip World Velocity, the longest, fastest zip wire in the northern hemisphere. Bangor and Caernarfon with its castle, and the Isle of Anglesey with its beautiful walks and beaches are all easily accessible.
